OP 10 BEST NEW Upcoming Games 2022 & 2023 (4K 60FPS) © Post "Honestly, the way leviathans behave is a huge missed opportunity." for game Subnautica.
I own so much Fallout and Elder Scrolls memorabilia that I could probably sell it… I’m not sure why other than it expresses frustration they don’t want to see. This post was deleted by moderators from the other subreddit. What if for instance, the Ghost Leviathan in the lost river, it's just chilling under some branches or in a skeleton upon entrance and if you get too close, it senses you and wakes up, turning around and screeching at you from across the chamber, with a charge directly at you following shortly after for invading it's home. This is such a huge missed opportunity because since the game world is static and doesn't change with player interaction apart from base building, the leviathans such as the Ghost, Shadow, Sea Dragon, Shadow, and Chelicerate Leviathan, all spawn in specific areas, it would be incredibly awesome if these leviathans upon encounter didn't just pop in and start swimming in circles, what if for each of these they had a unique spawning animation that uses their environment? That's all they do if we leave out player interaction. However as big and awesome as they are, once their initial scare wears off after the first encounter, first charge, and first grab, honestly they're – kinda lame…ĭon't get me wrong, the actual designs of the creatures, their animations, sound design, and lore are all phenomenal, but something just feels like it's missing.Ī lot of leviathans are set to spawn in specific areas, however they just kinda mindlessly patrol the area swimming around and around back and fourth sometimes attacking local fauna and… that's it. I love seeing leviathans, they're big, scary, and make you not want to play the game anymore.
